South Charlotte Partners, Inc. is excited to present an interstate Regional Transportation Summit on March 25, 2019 from 9am-2pm at The Ballantyne Resort.
As transportation and infrastructure are two of the most pressing issues affecting the south Charlotte region in North and South Carolina, this summit will bring together all the federal, state and municipal stakeholders to discuss how best to address current and future transportation needs.
Addressing this issue requires a regional approach as much of the increased volume is a direct result of economic development along the state border. Therefore, we have invited NC Governor Cooper, SC Governor McMaster, NC Senator Thom Tillis, Congresswoman Alma Adams, Congressman Ralph Norman, NCDOT Secretary Trogdon, SCDOT Secretary Hall, officials from CDOT, CATS, NC Turnpike Authority and MPO's representing Charlotte and surrounding South Carolina counties, and economic development leaders.
